We took the iPads outside and took pictures of natural hearts. In the sand area, we made hearts out of sticks, rocks and leaves. We found hearts carved in and spray painted on trees. In the classroom, we found hearts on a monkey on a quilt. We found them on playing cards. We found them in a student's desk - she had an elastic band heart. People were following some students because they had hearts on their shirt and their earrings. We drew them on the whiteboard, and found them beside the word "February". There were also hearts in the snowflakes we made in December. There is also a heart that says Valentine's Day!
You can find hearts here, there and everywhere!
